Because my husband was unable to take his two full weeks of vacation this summer he has decided to take a few days off here and there to make up the time. This past weekend he was off work so he took Monday and Tuesday off as well. Although this wasn’t a huge break it was a nice little break for him and it got him away from his job for awhile. He went back to work this morning and I’m not really sure when he’ll take more time off. But at least he was FINALLY able to get a little time off.

The first part of the summer I was extremely busy with all my online work. Well over the past two weeks the work has slowed down considerably. But I’m not complaining. I had so much work to do online during the first part of the summer that I wasn’t able to get anything else done. Well now I have that time.

I have been busy researching electric fireplaces so that when we are ready to redo the living room we will be able to purchase one and I have been able to a bit of my crafting business up and running. So I guess this little bit of down time is kind of a good thing. Hopefully it doesn’t last much longer though as it really does hurt the pocket book when I’m not working.

I think I’m getting a bit burnt out. For the past week I have been sitting at my computer for at least 10 hours a day. Well I think all this work is finally catching up to me. So I think it’s time to step away from the computer and take some time off. I have to do some research on hydroxy cut reviews and finish up a pretty big transcription project, but after these two tasks are completed, I think I’m going to take a bit of time off.

So if you don’t see me around for the next few days, don’t get alarmed I’m just enjoying a much needed little break.

I thought I had budgeted my time right, but I didn’t. Last week I was given some work from a client and I thought I could have it finished by Friday. But after doing some calculations last night I discovered that I really screwed up on the amount of time I thought it would take me. I didn’t realize the file was as big as it was and quoted him a day that after careful consideration figured out just wasn’t possible. But… the good news is he did give me an extension after I explained my mistake. So I will get it done. It’s just going to take me quite a bit longer.

Man oh man do I have a lot of work that I need to finish. I have tons of general transcription that I need to have done and loads of blogging that I have to get done as well. And I have to have all this done by Thursday. I guess the articles on Rocky Patel will have to wait. I think by the looks of all this work ahead of me that I’m going to put in a few late nights. The paycheck will be really nice as long as I can survive doing all this work.

Well my husband wasn’t able to get the weekend off from work so once again we never got to go camping. I’m so disgusted with all this overtime work that I have asked him to sell the trailer. What’s the point of paying for something that we are unable to use. So… this weekend I actually worked quite a bit on my computer. I did a transcription file for a guy on the best weight loss products available on the market and I also wrote a few articles as well. So it was a productive weekend, just not a very fun one.

For the second time in six months my husband has to get used to a new manager. Late last week his company let go his manager. Apparently he was caught on the security cameras doing a few things that he wasn’t supposed to be doing. So now my husband has to get used to someone new. And for a person who absolutely detests change, this will come as a challenge. For his sake I hope this transition goes smoothly. Otherwise, it’s going to be a pretty rough time at my house for a little while as I’ll get to listen to all his ranting and raving once again.

Well I just had to share this news with you all. Yesterday I was contacted by one of my clients that I do a lot of transcription work for. He has decided that he wants to me also become his website content writer as well as his corporate blogger! I don’t have all the details as of yet, but so far this all sounds pretty exciting. Maybe then I won’t have to write about quick weight loss for pennies a post. We are supposed to discuss this situation sometime today, so when I have some news, I’ll be sure to let you all know.

Well I’m slowly getting things done around here. I just got back from the bank and from buying an acne treatment so I can scratch that off my list. Now all I have to do it to get a massive amount of housework done and I will be already to start my weekend off. I’m really not worried about getting it all done today as I know that if I don’t, it will certainly still be here waiting for me.

That’s right folks, I’m finally done with that huge file and the days of 12 hour typing. I finished proofing the file and have sent it to my contract. It’s done! Now with all that typing out of the way, I can start doing some things that I have neglecting over the past few days. I can catch up on the laundry which includes washing my living room rugs, I’ll get the dishes all caught up and quite possibly get my office and bedroom cleaned. But at least I won’t be tied to the computer much longer. Yay!
