With having three computers in the home, we really need to get things better organized. Right now we have a computer in the living room, the dining room and in the spare room. After browsing on the Internet the other day I have decided that something we really need to have is a KVM box to manage all our computers from one station. Having three computers is wonderful. This way were not all fighting to get the computer from one another. But having three can also be a little disorganized and I need to find a better method to fight this disorganization.

Living in a home that has five people in it, most of my time is spent cleaning. It seems like the faster I clean up the mess, the faster these people mess it back up. And…if you think that most of the mess comes from the kids then I have to tell you that your wrong. Most of the mess has come from my husband and lately I have been trying to think of some creative ways to get all this cleaning done faster and better.
A couple of ways I thought of doing is is number one, by wrapping my entire family in bubble wrap. If they are all wrapped up, they can then concentrate on popping bubbles instead of making messes. But I think the best way I have come up with is giving them all a lint brush and making them clean the house with it. I think after a short amount of time of having to do this, they would think twice about making another mess.
But since neither one of these ideas are a real solution to my problem I think I should probably look into purchasing a Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner. I have used dirt devil in the past and found this brand of vacuum to be one of the best. Now they have a new product on the market which is a lot more energy efficient than past products, and it’s cordless, so I can carry it to all the messes that my family creates. So instead of getting mad and spending all my money on bubble wrap or lint brushes, I’m pretty sure the purchase of a dirt devil would be more effective in the day to day cleaning at my house.

I am amazed how fast time flies when your not paying attention. My oldest son moved out a year ago on the 21st of this month. I can’t believe it’s been a year already and that he has lasted a year on his own. He moved quite far away, so we don’t get the opportunity to see him very often. We do communicate through phone calls and e-mails so I know he is doing OK. But it’s still hard. I think his moving out and so far away has been the hardest on the two younger kids that are still at home. When he first moved out they were happy for him and excited that he was going on an adventure. But now since it’s been so long they really miss him and want him to come home. My youngest son has even said that he would happily give Josh his old room back if he came home. But…he likes where he is at so I’m sure he will be there for many more years to come. It’s just too bad we can’t seem him as much as we would like to.

Now that spring has finally arrived and we have decided that this is going to be the year where we put our current home on the market and purchase a newer one there are a last few renovation details that I need to take care of. One of the last things that needs to be done to this home to take it more attractive to buyers is I need to purchase some new window treatments for all the windows.
This is why I have decided to go with blindcentralonline.com. Over at this site I can browse their extensive line of inventory on discounted blinds. Although the prices are very inexpensive, the products are not. Since I’m not an expert in this field, I have asked the professionals over at this site for a little guidance. They were extremely helpful and always willing to help. They patiently explained the difference between a Levolor custom window blind and a regular blind. So because of their excellent customer service skills, I can see myself doing all my window blind purchases through them.

Although today is only Thursday, I have to get my rear in gear and get as much housework done as I can. Because for the next three days I will have the kids home. When they are not in school it seems like I don’t get very much accomplished so I try to do everything I can while their in school. Although I have been putting it off, today is the day that I am going to majorly clean my daughter’s room. She wants me to clean it as she seen what her brother’s room looked like after I was done in his. I don’t think she realizes that to get those results I ended up throwing out a lot of stuff. But…what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her right??

A little over a month ago I filled out our taxes and sent it away. My husband is suppose to get a substantial refund back (if I did it right) and I will be getting a smaller refund back. Now I realize that it takes time to go through the snail mail system and back again, but since it’s been a little over a month I have started hounding the mail lady again. lol
One of my worst faults in life (besides smoking, and that’s another post) is I absolutely hate to wait. I’m am probably the most impatient person on the face of this planet. And I especially hate waiting if I know there is something good coming. But, because I sent my tax forms through snail mail, I have no choice but to wait. But I don’t want to!!

Last week my husband and I were discussing our financial situation. I don’t work outside of the home, so any income I can earn online is the only income that I bring in the house. He does work full time, so all our bills are getting paid and there is food on the table, but there isn’t a lot left over for the extra stuff that we or the kids would like.
In May I left a job that I had had for almost seven years. So due to our financial situation right now, I did offer to go back to work. I really don’t want to and the kids don’t want me to either. But, if it would help us out I was willing to do it. Thankfully, after much discussion, we decided that it wouldn’t really pay for me to go back. If I’m paying out half my paycheck to a babysitter, then really what is the point of working. So for right now, I’ll stay home and try to earn a little extra online.
