Last night my husband was showing me different houses that are up for sale in our area. So… I’m really hoping this is a sign that he’s thinking about moving. Honestly I would love to have to invest in some Moving Announcements and be able to hand them out to all my family and friends. We have been living in a mobile home in a park for almost 12 years and I’m really tired of living here. Yes, I understand that to move we would in fact need to get a mortgage, but seriously at this point in my life I really wouldn’t care. I’ll certainly keep you all posted on whether we will be moving or not in the very near future.

Well both the kids are home this week for their school’s March break. So as predicted, I’m really not getting a whole lot done today. They aren’t really bad, they’re just very loud and it’s extremely hard to concentrate on anything important. So I guess the only thing that’s going to get done around here today will be a little bit of housework. I really need to clean my Danze faucets in my bathroom and I really, really need to clean out our bedroom. So with two kids home and me not being able to get a lot done on the computer I guess this would be a good day to get some extra cleaning done.

This was not what I was looking forward to today but as long as something gets done I guess I will be able to call it a good day.

Well yesterday I found a burst of energy (don’t know where from) so I decided to start cleaning our bedroom and clearing out my craft room. I was so impressed with myself. You can actually see the floor in my craft room which has been hidden away for quite a while and all my husband’s and my clothes are put away in their proper places. But… I’m no where near done. Today I am going to go through all my things in my bedroom and start getting rid of things that I haven’t used in years. Yes, I think I’m a hoarder. I always say that I’ll used it later, but really never do. So the things I haven’t touched in years are going to go away. Hopefully then I’ll have a bit more room to be able to move around in both rooms.

Finally after 12 years of living here I have talked my husband into purchasing me a dishwasher! I can’t wait. I have been bugging him for the past 12 years to purchase me one and for the past 12 years he has come up with every excuse in the book as to why I don’t need one. He did try to argue that we don’t have the room in the kitchen for one as we have a huge food storage container sitting in the kitchen but when I pointed out that we could put this unit in a different room, he finally relented. So this weekend we are going dishwasher shopping and I for one can’t wait! It’s been a long time coming!

Yesterday was not a fun day at my house at all. We lost our hydro for over 13 hours. So since I had no power, I had no heat. I also had no phone service as I have a cordless phone. Thankfully I do have a cell phone and a cell booster so I wasn’t completely in the dark. And the worst part?? No power for coffee! Even freezing and having no house phone service wasn’t as bad as no coffee. Luckily it came back on and this morning I was able to enjoy my morning coffee once again.

I have been constantly at my 12 year old daughter to clean her room. Well… she had her chance. Now it’s my turn. Honestly I’ve NEVER seen a kid’s room as bad as her’s. I swear she is a mini hoarder. So can you guess what I’ll be doing today?? That’s right, instead of spending time on line looking up things like glucosamine chondroitin msm, I will be cleaning her room. She isn’t going to like the way I clean it. But oh well, she had her chance.

I have had my husband home from work the past four days so I haven’t been able to get much accomplished around here. well today he went back to work so that means I have a lot of catching up to do today. I have tons of laundry, dishes, decorating and wrapping to finish up. Plus… I have some online work that really needs to be done as well. So… I’m off to get my work all done while I have all this quiet time once again.

I swear I spend most of my free time cleaning this house and most days it looks like I haven’t done a thing. I spent the majority of the day yesterday dusting all my horizontal blinds and washing walls and now today it looks like I didn’t do a thing yesterday. Now I know I worked hard, I just wish that my work would show to the rest of the family. Oh well, I’ll keep plugging away at the cleaning and hopefully one of these days my house will look like I actually did some work in it.

Well I’ve had it! My house is filled to the rafters with junk and I think it’s high time I get rid of some of it. So I have decided to go through room for room and start getting rid of stuff. A lot of the stuff we have in here can be thrown away as it really is junk. But some of it I’m going to try to sell in an online auction. I would love to make a little extra cash on the stuff that we have laying around here and don’t use anyway. I haven’t done this type of thing before but I’m sure it will be an experience. Just as long as I get rid of some of this junk I really don’t care where it goes.

The weather is pretty crappy here today and we are supposed to see more of this over the next few days so I have decided that this would be a perfect time for me to do some deep housecleaning. It’s been quite a while since I’ve done this type of cleaning and I really think the house does need it. So with the weather not being real nice and the urge to go outside quieted, I really do think I can get a lot accomplished today and tomorrow.
