Surprisingly Insightful

Here it is almost the end of April and what does my weatherman have to report this morning??  Snow tonight.  Yeah, I know it’s not his fault.  But come on now, enough is enough.  I’m pretty sure that we have had all the snow we needed or wanted to last us a life time.  And now that it’s SUPPOSED to be spring, we certainly don’t need anymore.  The only good news that I can see come out of this is that because the ground has had time to warm up, this latest snow that we are supposed to get won’t stay.  But man, enough is enough.  Hopefully mother nature won’t hit us too hard and then we can get back to our spring like days again.

My daughter was watching a show on TV the other night where most of the actors were wearing 5.11 Tactical boots. Now she wants a pair. Doesn’t sound really girly now does it? But for her birthday I have decided to try to get her a pair. That is why I have been checking out a website over at lapolicegear.com where I can purchase the type of boots that she so desperately craves. The have an extensive amount of inventory on hand and their prices seem to be extremely reasonable. So I guess I will be able to indulge her just this once and when her birthday rolls around, she is going to be majorly surprised.

This fascination really shouldn’t surprise me, as when I was growing up, I lived in army combat boots. So…like mother, like daughter.
