I am getting so…. tired of winter!! I can really do without the snow, cold and ice. Tonight and tomorrow we are due for a pretty big storm, and to say that I’m not impressed is an understatement. Due to the amount of snow that we are expecting, the kids probably won’t have any school tomorrow which means that I get to have a full day of two kids fighting. So not only will I have to deal with mother nature and all she has to offer, but I will also get to spend the day with two fighting children. Oh… I can’t wait. Can’t you tell?!

Since I don’t have a whole lot on my plate today, I’ve decided to once again to get started on my Spring cleaning. I really, really do hate to clean, but since nobody else in this house even knows what Anilox cleaners are, I guess the cleaning will be left up to me. The first room I plan on tackling is our bedroom. And to do this right, it’s probably going to take me a few days to get this all done. Oh well, all this clutter only seems to bother me, so I guess I can take my time to get it done. Now…. if I could only find the motivation to get started. lol

Well winter is here in full force here in Eastern Canada. It has been snowing steadily since last night and is not supposed to let up until sometime this evening. So lots of scraping and shoveling will be done in our yard later on today. But the funny part about this snowstorm is that the kids still had to go to school. On a day like today you would think that school would be cancelled. But nope, they still had school. Hopefully they make it through the day and the majority of the storm heads off until they at least get home.

Once again over the weekend my computer let me down. It crashed big time! I had to re-install everything and let me tell you all, that was not fun! Thankfully I had taken advantage of a free online backup service a little while ago, so I didn’t exactly lose everything. But what a major pain in the a**. I guess I’m really going to have to start saving my pennies to buy a new one. These problems with my computer are happening way to often these days to my liking. So hopefully I can save up the cash and buy a new unit. I certainly hope so. I never want to put in another weekend like I did this weekend.

Seriously folks, my to do list is so long, that I don’t even want to post it. I have no clue how I’m going to get everything done that I need to have done before the weekend hits. I have to work every weekend and by the time I get home I’m so tired and don’t feel like doing anything that I try to have everything done before the weekend comes. But, I have so much work to do and only two days left of this week to do it that I don’t think it’s all going to get done. But I’ll work away on my list and just hope for the best.

Are you one of those fools that heads out to the stores this time of year to try to find some specials?? Well, I’m not, but my husband is. Early this morning him and my youngest son headed out to the malls to see what they could find. Apparently he was trying to find a good deal on a samsung led hdtv. They still haven’t arrived home yet, so I don’t know if he was successful in his efforts. He’s a lot braver than I am. I will probably venture out sometime next week when the stores aren’t so crazy. Until then, I definitely plan on staying home!
