Seriously folks I’m really starting to think that we were never meant to be a camping family. So far this year we’ve only been able to go one night. I thought we were going to be able to go this weekend but nope. Because we don’t know until the last minute if we are going to be able to go, we run the risk of not being able to find a camping site. Well that’s what happened this weekend. All the campgrounds were booked up. So another wasted weekend. I can’t wait until camping season is over. At least this way I won’t have to be disappointed every weekend.

Yes it’s once again Friday so that means the weekend is nearly upon us. This weekend my husband is not supposed to have to work (we’ll see) so we are planning on taking the kids camping. It’s supposed to be a really nice weekend and if he doesn’t have to work we can all enjoy ourselves. He has had only one weekend off this summer so this is why I am so…. looking forward to this weekend. I won’t know until he comes home tonight whether or not he does have the weekend off. So keep you’re fingers crossed for me that we get to have a little fun this weekend.

Well my husband wasn’t able to get the weekend off from work so once again we never got to go camping. I’m so disgusted with all this overtime work that I have asked him to sell the trailer. What’s the point of paying for something that we are unable to use. So… this weekend I actually worked quite a bit on my computer. I did a transcription file for a guy on the best weight loss products available on the market and I also wrote a few articles as well. So it was a productive weekend, just not a very fun one.

I really, really hope that we get to go camping this weekend. We are all ready to go camping and even have gotten a rv insurance quote. Now all we have to do is see if my husband can manage to get the weekend off. He normally is on call every weekend, but has asked for this weekend off. If he gets his request we will go camping for at least one night, but if not, I guess we will be stuck home all weekend.

For the past couple of days it has been raining here non stop. Okay, I think we have enough! I’m really hoping this weekend that we don’t have any rain as my husband and I plan on taking the kids camping. And if it’s raining we won’t be going. This will be our first trip out this season so that’s why we’re all a little anxious to get going. So if you could all do me a favor and wish away my rain, I’d be ever so grateful. And of course, I’d pop in later to let you all know if your wishes came true.

I can’t believe the camping season is shortly coming to an end. We didn’t get to get out as much as I would have liked this year due to illnesses, work and the weather. I really hope that next camping season turns out a lot better than this one did. Next year we are thinking about trading in our pop up for a motor home. A vehicle of this nature would be much more convenient than our pop up and maybe we would use it a little bit more than we used our camper this year. We would have to get some motorhome insurance but I can’t see that being much more expensive than what we pay for trailer insurance right now. I guess we will have to wait and see what takes place next camping season.

Finally we were able to go on a camping trip. Yesterday we packed up our camper and headed out for the night. We were only able to go for the one night because I have to go to work later today, but still it was nice to get away for one night. We went to the campground that we always go to and were quite amazed at all the changes they made during the last year. They put in a new pool, different equipment in the playground and even set up a cardboard display to list all the upcoming activities that they will be having in the park. This has always been our favorite place to camp and now with all these changes they have made it even better. We are hoping to go back out again later in the week and you can just bet that we will be headed back to our favorite camping site.

So far this summer has been pretty crappy as far as the weather goes. We haven’t had one nice weekend yet where we could take the kids camping. Some days it feels like we wasted our money purchasing a pop up camping trailer. Maybe we should have just made a Westgate reservation and took the kids on a trip that way. But since it’s still only the first of July, hopefully we will still get a few days of camping in. Only time and the weatherman will tell.

In less than three weeks the children will be out of school for the summer season and my husband will be home from work for a week’s vacation. Now normally we don’t do very much during our vacations, but this year things are going to be different. The week that he is home from work, we are going to pack up the camping trailer and take the kids camping for the entire week. We have never gone camping for an entire week before so this is going to be a real treat for the kids. Now, I only have two and a half weeks to get all ready for this. But the excitement is mounting.

May 15th was the first official day of camping season. But because it rained this past weekend, we were unable to go. But we still have plenty of weekends this summer to take advantage of. We have plans on going camping this upcoming weekend. It’s supposed to be +29 on Saturday and +22 on Sunday so it’s really looking like it’s going to be a nice weekend to go. With all this camping that we plan on doing, my husband has also been talking about checking out some best diet pills reviews to start taking as well. He has been packing on a little extra weight these days and is also aware of how much he munches when were out camping. So he’s looking at being a little proactive. But, I really don’t think that he needs to worry about this type of thing just yet.
