It’s extremely hot in our area today so I will not be doing much posting on my computer today. My house (and it’s only morning) is hotter than an oven so I plan on shutting my computer down and go hiding in the shade for a little while. Hopefully this heat wave ends soon and I will be back to posting as normal very soon.

I can’t believe the difference that I am experiencing in my Internet and computer today. Sites are loading really quickly and this really does make me happy. I have been having so many problems lately with my computer, and then yesterday with my Internet connection that I was starting to get a little frustrated with all of my online work. But today seems to be working out quite well. So maybe I’ll spend a little extra time on the computer today since it seems to be working so well. I am going to browse around and try to learn more about why my computer is acting so wonky. But for today no complaints from me.

I need to make some decisions in life. For the past three years I have been a blogging fool but have found lately that I really don’t have the passion to do this much longer. As I really don’t want to give up blogging altogether, I really need to find a happy medium where blogging is concerned. I used to blog about everything from humidifier filters to my family’s antics. But lately I can’t seem to find anything I want to blog about. I’m thinking about giving up some of my blogs (I have a lot) and just concentrating on a select few. Maybe then I’ll get my blogging fever back once again.

This blog has become a little neglected over the past few months. Now I think it’s time once again to get this thing moving and to get it more exposure. So I plan on doing a few minor things to try to get this blog noticed once again. The first thing I plan on doing is to check out some directory submissions where I can advertise my blog. Then I plan on going back into Entrecard a little more often to get more visitors. Hopefully these efforts will enable me to get this blog back to being viewed once again. I realize that since I’ve let this go for so long, that this will take a little while, but hopefully my patience and persistence will pay off.

I have been sitting at this computer all morning and not getting much done. It is running so slow that it is taking me twice as long to get anything accomplished. I’m almost to the point that I’m going to shut the stupid thing down for the day and go sit outside on my patio cushions for the entire afternoon. Now most days this doesn’t aggravate me quite so much, but today I have a lot of work to do and I don’t think I’m going to get it all done. I really do hope that Santa is reading this post, takes pity on me and sends me a brand new laptop this Christmas.

As you can tell by my recent posts (or lack there of) I haven’t been in here blogging very much. There is a reason for this. I now lack the motivation to get in here and post. After blogging for three years, I think I’m finally running out of steam. I really don’t want to give up blogging all together, but if my interest doesn’t return I’m afraid that this might happen. Hopefully all I need to do is take a little break and then things may fall back into place again. So… you probably will see me in here every once and a while for a while, but when things change here at home, I do have plans of spending more time in here.

This morning I received an e-mail from blue host telling me that one of my domains had expired and if I didn’t renew it right away, they would cancel my account. Well when you get an e-mail with the words “expired” and “cancel”, it tends to put a little fear in you. I had honestly thought that I had all my domain registries set to automatic. But I guess I missed one. Well I did renew it for another year. So, there will be no cancelling of this account and hopefully I never wake up to an e-mail like this one again.

As many of you may be aware, to earn a little extra income for our household, I do some freelance writing. Most of my efforts lately have been directed to paid blogging. For those of you who may not be aware, paid blogging is when a company asks you to write about a product like stereo cabinet or a service and after you post about it on your blog, then they will pay you for your time and post. But, these opportunities seem to be dwindling away so I have been looking at other ways to earn this income. Well, I have found another way to earn this income. And this is through freelance article writing. This is pretty much the same thing as paid blogging, except you don’t need a blog to participate. Although it’s not my ideal form of writing, it does earn me extra money when I need it. So between the both, I am coming close to earning my ideal income level from working from home.

Wow I can’t believe that it’s been almost a week since I’ve come in here and posted. I guess time kind of got away from me. Since the kids went back to school I have been in a serious cleaning of my house mode. I have been trying to get one room cleaned at a time, but the process is a little slow. Then over the weekend I worked so I didn’t have very much time to spend on the computer. Hopefully I’ll have my house completely done the way I want it during the next week and will be able to get back to my online work more often. Until then…stay safe and have fun!

Well do you all notice anything different in here today? Well if you said new template, then you are correct! Today I decided would be the day that I would change this template. I have had the same one for a year now and to tell you the truth, I really didn’t like the old one. Over the past year I have tried to change it several times but have had no luck. Well I decided that today I wouldn’t stop trying until I figured it out! Well as you can all see, I did in fact figure it out. And…it was so darned easy I am still sitting here kicking myself at not figuring this out sooner. Oh well, better late than never I always say.
