Last night my husband informed me that he wants to buy a piece of land beside some water to put our camper trailer on. As most of you are aware of we go camping every summer. Usually we go to camp sites that offer pools and pool lifts but we have decided that this year we would like to own our own little spot of paradise. It would be cheaper in the long run and I’m pretty sure we would do a lot more camping if we had our own land. So over the next month or so we are going to scour the area to see if we can locate our own little part of heaven at a reasonable rate.
You sure can tell that summer is on it’s way. For some reason when the weather gets nicer out and I really don’t feel like sitting behind my computer all day, the companies that I work for send me a boat load of work to do. So I end up sitting at my computer and staring longingly out the window all day. Well that’s what happened to me this morning. I woke up this morning to a long list of assignments that one of my companies wants finished up by Tuesday. So you can just about guess what I will be doing all weekend. That’s right folks I’ll be sitting here writing Lipofuze articles for most of the weekend. Oh well, at least its extra money. The cash I’ll receive at the end of the weekend just might make it worth it.
Well yesterday I got most of my work done here around the house and I don’t have a shift at work tonight so I think today will end up being a very relaxing kind of day for me. I don’t have a whole lot of pressing things on the agenda today so I think I’m going to take a *me* day. I have a couple of loads of laundry to do today then I think I’m going to find my book and just chill until the children get home. I don’t get many days like today so I think I’m going to take advantage of it.

Well today is the last day of our long weekend. Even though the weather wasn’t really great, we still had a pretty good weekend. Yesterday and this morning the kids and my husband went fishing and I stayed home. I was able to get quite a bit of housework done as well as write up some articles on Bronx Medical Malpractice Attorney. So it was a good day for me as well. Later on we will have a bbq and then the kids will need to get all set to go back to school. Hopefully their summer vacation goes as well as this long weekend did.
Last night instead of working my four hour shift, I ended up working only one and a half hours. We were so dead it wasn’t even funny. If these are the types of shifts that I get to look forward to this summer, I think I may have to step up my job search a little faster. Ideally I would love to get a job that offers a great social security disability package and benefits but I don’t think that is going to happen. Oh well, I’m not really worried about it as I do have a lot of experience in my field. It’s just that I’m going to have to do the switch a whole lot sooner than I had originally planned.
Well I guess I really should have taken an online business degree program when I graduated from high school. After being employed at the same job for the past 11 years it looks like I could be soon out of a job. There are a lot of changes going on at my work and one of the changes is that they are starting to cut back some of the shifts. And… it looks like some of those shifts that are being cut could be mine. I’m not really concerned about it as I do have 11 years experience in my field and can probably get another job quite quickly. But I’m still not real happy about it. It’s times like this that I really wish I had the sense to invest in an online business degree program. But… who knew?
So far this month has not been a real good one. Except for having mother’s day and birthday celebrations, this month has been pretty bad. Most of the family has been sick and it doesn’t really seem like we can get rid of it. I haven’t been doing a whole lot of posting these days as I’ve been a bit busy taking care of the family. Hopefully all this sickness goes away soon and we can all enjoy the rest of the month.
Well let me tell you all about my weekend. First of all Sunday was Mother’s day so my husband and the kids took me out for supper. Then yesterday was my birthday and once again lot of spoiling went on. Last night my husband brought home supper so I wouldn’t have to cook and brought me home a birthday “pie”. Yes, I said pie. I’m not a huge fan of cake so I got a pie. He did bring home a small cake for the kids to share in honor of my big day. But my absolute favorite gift was my new laptop. About a month ago we were looking at acer aspire laptops and I pointed out one I would like to have. Well my husband was paying attention and brought me home one. So I’ve had a pretty great couple of days!
In less than a week I will be turning 43 and man… do I ever feel it and look it. I have quite a bit of gray hair showing again and the acne on my face is truly a mess. I wish I could find some affordable but effective adult acne treatments to use to get rid of this problem. I did buy a box of hair dye, so the graying problem should be taken care of. I’m really getting tired of only being in my early 40’s but looking like I’m in my early 50’s.
You have all probably been wondering where I’ve been these last few days. Well, I’ve been home sick! I have been so sick this past week there were times when I really wondered if I was going to make it. Now I don’t get sick very often mind you, but boy when I do, it really does throw me for a loop. But… I think the worst if finally over. This morning I woke up and decided that I really have to get my life back on track. I have been doing a little surfing on the Internet looking for chiropractic technologist courses. I am able to sit up at my computer and don’t feel all that bad. So hopefully the worst of this illness is over and life can get back to normal.
