Well once again I get to spend my day digging out from another major snowstorm. Honestly folks I’d rather buy gold off the Internet that dig out that snow shovel once again. But since my husband got called into work very early this morning it looks like it’s up to me and the children to find our way out of the driveway once again. The children are looking forward to this adventure but I’m certainly not. Man… I can’t wait until spring has finally arrived!

So last night instead of working on my diet pill reviews like I was supposed to I sat down and figured out mine and my husband’s income tax for the past year. Well…. I am happy to report that neither one of owes anything this year and matter of fact we are both getting some income tax back! Yay, what a great feeling! So now all we have to do is file these taxes and then sit and wait for about six weeks to get our refund check in the mail. So another year has gone by and the government owes us money. Now you know why I was doing taxes last night instead of working.

For years now the kids have been asking their father and I for a puppy. But because we live in such a small home we really haven’t considered it. About a month ago a girl I work with told me her dog had puppies. Her dog is a very small dog which means the puppies would be also. We thought that would be great for us. But… after talking to her more about it, I don’t think we’ll be getting a puppy from her. She wants $300 for each puppy. Well that’s a little bit more than I’m willing to spend. If I spent that and bought dog training aids, dog food and everything else he would need, I would be in the poor house. So I guess it doesn’t look like we are getting a puppy any time soon.

The past couple of days have lulled me into the feeling that spring might just be around the corner. Boy… was I wrong. Right now we are in for another major storm that is supposed to start tomorrow. So I guess winter isn’t almost over. I really wish I could stop investing in acne skin care products, hats, mittens and gloves. But as long as winter continues to rear it’s ugly head, I’ll still have to be concerned with these items. Hopefully we don’t get half of what they are calling for and we can start to see some small signs of spring.

Wow, this has been one very long week! I am so glad it’s almost over and I am quiet looking forward to the weekend. There has been a ton of stuff going on in my house lately and it seems like life isn’t getting easier at this point. There is a few things that are going on that should be straightened out over the weekend. So if I can survive the next couple of days maybe next week won’t turn into another bad week. Here’s to hoping for a better week next week.

I am so jealous of my brother and his wife. Last week they headed to the Dominican for a much needed and wanted winter vacation. I have been talking to him over the past few days and it seems like they really are having a blast. He even mentioned that he was really glad that his wife and him tried some Diet pills that work fast before they headed out for their vacation. Although I would really love to be with him, I don’t fly so I don’t think a vacation like this is ever going to be in the cards for me. But he’s having a great time so I guess that’s the main thing.

I absolutely don’t like to turn down any work. Whether it’s at my outside job or my online work, I always take the extra work because we can always use the extra money. With two small kids at home and with them growing fast, we are always out shopping for something. Well yesterday I had to turn down a small amount of work and I’m not happy about it. I was asked to write five male enhancement reviews for a company and I just couldn’t set myself up to do it. So I e-mailed the company and lost out on the potential pay. Oh well, I’m sure more jobs will come along in the future, I just wish I didn’t have to turn down this money at this time.

Yeah, I know it’s winter, but come on now! This is getting a little ridiculous. We have been getting hit with so much snow lately that it’s really not funny. I think this is the first year in over 12 years that we’ve lived here that we really have to worry about the amount of snow that’s on our roof. Too bad we don’t live in steel buildings then maybe we wouldn’t have to worry about cave ins. Last night my husband went back up on the roof to clear it off so we don’t have as much snow on the roof when we get hit again. I really, really can’t wait until this winter is over!

I’m really hoping that today turns into a quiet day. For the past few days I have had my youngest son home sick from school. He wasn’t really sick, but he did have quiet a bad cough and the teacher sent him home Tuesday due to this cough. So because of this cough I kept him home for a couple of extra days. But I sent him back this morning. So right now I’m sitting here in my nice quiet house and praying that the teacher doesn’t call me to come get him. I really need this down time and I’m really hoping I have this time to myself all day. After all tomorrow the kids and my husband will be home so there won’t be any quiet time for me for a couple of more days.
