I can’t believe the difference that I am experiencing in my Internet and computer today. Sites are loading really quickly and this really does make me happy. I have been having so many problems lately with my computer, and then yesterday with my Internet connection that I was starting to get a little frustrated with all of my online work. But today seems to be working out quite well. So maybe I’ll spend a little extra time on the computer today since it seems to be working so well. I am going to browse around and try to learn more about why my computer is acting so wonky. But for today no complaints from me.

Man you don’t know how much you depend on the Internet until you lose it. Well… that’s what happened here in my household this weekend. I was on my computer humming right along, but when I went to change sites, my computer froze. So I turned it off and restarted it and when I went to go back online, I wasn’t able to access any pages not even sites that told me to click here. My husband and the kids went offline as well. Well… after calling support they were able to fix me up once again and get me back rolling. The good thing about this happening is that if it ever happens again, I’ll know how to get back online.

A few years ago I decided I needed to do something about my credit. It’s not that I had bad credit, I just didn’t have any credit at all. So over the years after checking out a few credit card offers I decided to go with three different ones. Over the years I have made purchases on them and then paid them off. So currently I have really good credit. When I was at my bank yesterday they asked me if I’d be interested in a mortgage. So I guess my credit must be really good if they’re asking me to borrow money. I don’t plan on getting any more cards. I just plan on keeping these up to date so I can continue to have excellent credit.

With less than three weeks left until the school year is finished I have started looking at buying a couple of grading presents. I think it would be awesome if I could afford some Disney vacations but I don’t think that’s going to happen this year. Both of the kids had a terrific year this year so I am planning on buying them something nice. Neither has asked for much for a grading present so it shouldn’t be too hard to find something perfect for both of them. Now all I have to do is find the gifts and purchase them.

I must say that last weekend was probably one of the nicest weekends we have had so far this spring. All weekend it was nice and sunny out and very warm. Although I did have a bit of work to do in the house, I will admit that I played hooky from all my computer work and spent most of my weekend outside. I spent a lot of time cleaning up the yard and setting up my outside furniture. Now if I only had an outdoor fireplace my entire yard would look complete. I absolutely love spring and now that we’ve seen a major sign of it, I can almost bet most of my days will be spent outside.

I don’t imagine I’m going to get a whole lot accomplished this week. This week I will be working extra shifts at my work. Tomorrow I need to go for a crap load of tests at our local hospital and then both the kids will be home from school on Friday. So with all these factors playing against me, I can’t see me getting much work done on my computer this week. Oh well, what gets done will get done and what doesn’t will certainly keep for another time.

What an odd week! Earlier this week my manager called me and asked me to work some extra shifts this week. Well working outside of the home a lot more than week has kind of put me behind in my housework and my online work. So… tomorrow will be a day to play catch up. Yes, I do have to work tomorrow night, but am hoping that I can get a lot accomplished during the day before I go to work. I absolutely hate when I’m this far behind. Hopefully I’ll get all my work caught up soon and the pressure will be off once again.

First of all, I’d like to wish you all a happy mothers day. So far today my day has been pretty awesome. Not only is it mothers day, but it’s my birthday as well. So I’m having an extra special day. My husband and my kids bought me a lot of presents and a black forest cake. And then my father in law and his wife just showed up with more cake. If anyone else shows up at my house with treats, I’m really going to have to invest in the weight loss diet pill known to man. Oh well, mothers day and my birthday only comes once a year so I guess I’ll just enjoy it and not complain.
