Well now that I have a new anti-virus installed on my computer, I decided to start cleaning out my computer of old files and programs that I don’t use any more. I have removed quite a few items and have found that my computer is starting to run quite a bit faster. I think if I get the rest of the stuff out of it, it will start working the way I want it too. So instead of purchasing a new computer, I think I will just purchase a new SD card for it and keep it. I don’t know if this will be the route I chose to go, but it would sure save me a lot of money if I don’t have to purchase a new unit.
My Norton ant-virus ran out a couple of days so my husband purchased me a new one and man… let me tell you all, what a pain in the a** that was to re-install it. It took almost three hours just to install the damned thing. And I can’t even tell you how long it took to do a full systems scam. I finally gave up on it at 11:30 pm last night. I just went to bed and let it run itself through while I was sleeping. But it did finally install and I’m good to go for another year. But man… what a process!
Both the children brought home their report cards yesterday and I can’t tell you how please I was with them, especially with my daughter’s. She is in grade 6 which is a transition year in our district and sometimes children have a difficult time making the transition from elementary school to middle school. Well not this kid. She came home with all A’s and was really impressed with all her hard work. Now normally I don’t buy them a present just for bringing home a special report card. But this time I think I might. Not stainless steel drums or anything like that, but I think I might get them each a DS game just to show them how proud I am.
