While I was surfing the net this morning in the hopes of finding a cheaper life insurance quote, I stumbled across a site that sells mechanical breakdown insurance. What a neat idea! It really is no benefit to me, but I did send the link to my uncle that has his own business. He hadn’t heard of it before so he was quite happy that I sent him the link. It really does amaze me on what type of things and information is available in today’s market. What will they come up with next?

My daughter’s junior high is having their winter dance this coming Wednesday night. I’ve got to tell you all I was a little surprised with her by her actions over this dance. The last couple that she went to she had a blast, but this one she barely mentioned. She did mention it to her father yesterday but didn’t ask for any money for a ticket. Now… that’s not her. This morning her father did give her the money for a ticket, but he had to ask her if she wanted to go, she wasn’t begging him to go. Maybe the dances aren’t as fun for her as she thought they would be? Oh well, who knows with little kids right?

Every year my husband gets four weeks of vacation. But… one of those weeks, he has to take between January and March. So yeah, not much of a vacation. He has chosen to take next week off. So next week I will have my biggest child home for the week. Since we can’t do anything or go anywhere (the kids are still in school) I have some plans for him to get some work done around the house. I’m going to get him to finally put up the wood blinds that we purchased before Christmas and I’m also going to get him to help me move back into my home office. Oh don’t worry, I’ll let him have some time to himself. After all, it is his vacation time. lol

I swear to god the older I get, the more acne and pimples I get. I never, ever had this problem as a teenager growing up and I guess maybe this is why it bothers me so much. I spend so much money on creams and lotions that it’s starting to get a bit ridiculous. It seems like every year this acne problem pops up in a different place. All I need to do is find acne on the neck and I will be all set. Part of this problem I think is due to the winter dry weather that we get around here, so hopefully within the next month or so my acne problems will calm down. I certainly hope so, I’m starting to look like one big pimple.

I am getting so…. tired of winter!! I can really do without the snow, cold and ice. Tonight and tomorrow we are due for a pretty big storm, and to say that I’m not impressed is an understatement. Due to the amount of snow that we are expecting, the kids probably won’t have any school tomorrow which means that I get to have a full day of two kids fighting. So not only will I have to deal with mother nature and all she has to offer, but I will also get to spend the day with two fighting children. Oh… I can’t wait. Can’t you tell?!

This blog has become a little neglected over the past few months. Now I think it’s time once again to get this thing moving and to get it more exposure. So I plan on doing a few minor things to try to get this blog noticed once again. The first thing I plan on doing is to check out some directory submissions where I can advertise my blog. Then I plan on going back into Entrecard a little more often to get more visitors. Hopefully these efforts will enable me to get this blog back to being viewed once again. I realize that since I’ve let this go for so long, that this will take a little while, but hopefully my patience and persistence will pay off.

A little while ago I was trying to do a post on acne nodules, and then my stupid (yes, I said stupid) computer crashed. Everything went black and it jammed up so bad, that I had to unplug it and take out the battery to get it re-started. Man… I’m starting to hate this computer. I really, really want a new one, but I just can’t afford to fork out the extra dough that it would cost me. Hopefully after I get my car paid off, I can then justify spending the extra money for a new computer. Until then, I guess I’ll just have to try and deal with all these problems that my computer is giving me lately.

Well it’s once again Monday so that means I have a ton of work ahead of me to get done today. I have the usual housework to do that never gets done over the weekend. I have a ton of blogging to do today and need to write five articles on quick weight loss. Then if I have time (and that’s a big IF) I want to get a start on cleaning my home office. Man… I hate Mondays. I always have a ton of work to do on this day and then feel guilty if I don’t get it all done. Oh well, hopefully I can put a good dent in all this work and then finish the rest tomorrow before I go back to work.
