I had a very slack weekend. Although I have lots of work to do on the Internet, I didn’t even turn my computer on until after supper today. I spent the day with the family and let me tell you it felt great! I did feel a little guilty for not going on the computer and a couple of times I was tempted to go into my home office and do some cleaning of my office furniture but, I convinced myself that it could all wait. And boy, I was glad that I did. My husband and I and the kids had a wonderful day and they even commented on how much they enjoyed the day since I took it off from computer work. So I’ll just have to get back on my computer tomorrow morning to make up for the time I lost today. But they will be in school and I will be home alone, so I won’t really have anything else to do anyway.

So, it was great to finally take a day off. And, I’m going to do it again real soon.

Well it’s finally Friday! What a long week! I am so glad it’s over. Because we are expecting a lot of rain this weekend, we really don’t have too much planned. We plan on just spending a nice and quite weekend at home with the kids. On Sunday we may possibly go visit my father in law but other than that, we have no real plans to speak of. So, I hope you all have a great weekend. And if you can’t do any thing fun this weekend, at least try to get some rest.

This summer my daughter will be turning 11 and the very next day my youngest son will be turning 9. So I have two presents that I need to purchase at the same time. So of course I am looking for deals or even some coupons so I can save a little money on these expenses. One site I rely heavily on is Coupon Trunk to find some pretty sweet coupon deals. My daughter will be turning 11 this summer and she really is starting to turn into a little teenager. She has pretty much got the teenager attitude down pat and now has started making all her demands in life. Last week she informed her father and I that she would like to have an iPhone with all the iphone accessories that goes with it. Not bad for a 10 year old eh?? Well my husband informed her that she will get an iPhone when she is old enough to get a job and pay for one herself. Honestly, what 10 year old needs an iPhone? I can’t wait until her next request!

For the past week I have been experiencing some pretty massive headaches. I know what the problem is. It’s my eyes. I haven’t had my eyes testing in over three years so I’m thinking that it’s about time I go in and get them tested to see if I need a new prescription for my glasses. As I spend quite a bit of time on the computer these days, I really do need to have a pair of glasses that have the right prescription for me. So until I can get into my eye doctor, I won’t be online a whole lot. The headaches just aren’t worth the trouble of spending time on the computer.

May 15th was the first official day of camping season. But because it rained this past weekend, we were unable to go. But we still have plenty of weekends this summer to take advantage of. We have plans on going camping this upcoming weekend. It’s supposed to be +29 on Saturday and +22 on Sunday so it’s really looking like it’s going to be a nice weekend to go. With all this camping that we plan on doing, my husband has also been talking about checking out some best diet pills reviews to start taking as well. He has been packing on a little extra weight these days and is also aware of how much he munches when were out camping. So he’s looking at being a little proactive. But, I really don’t think that he needs to worry about this type of thing just yet.

Last night was my first evening shift in the dining room at my work in over two years. And all I can say is that I was not highly impressed with the experience. The restaurant was packed and the food coming out of the kitchen was so slow, that we had a lot of cranky customer. The kitchen staff didn’t seem to want to work last night and this was holding up all our orders. Honestly, I don’t know if I would be able to stand another shift like this again. I really have to wonder if eight hours a week is worth all this aggravation.

How was your weekend?? Mine was pretty great! Saturday was my birthday and Sunday was Mother’s day. So it was a weekend with quite a bit of eating taking place. Not so much that I had to do any research on the top rated diet pill, but enough that if I don’t see any chocolate for awhile, I would be a happy person. But, it was a great birthday and a great Mother’s day. So I really have no complaints for now.

Today is the day for our annual spring clean up here in the park. So all weekend long all the trailers here in the park have been placing all the garbage and unwanted items on the side of the road. You wouldn’t believe what people are throwing out. I even seen a couple of Kohler sinks by the side of the road. Now these things are quite expensive to buy new and it is an awful shame that they are being thrown away. Our pile in front of our house was actually one of the smaller piles in the neighborhood. It really is quite amazing the amount of stuff people were throwing out. I really have to wonder where they had stored all this stuff during the year.

Man I feel like a kid in high school once again.

As most of you know, I have decided to try my hand at doing some general transcription work from home. Well, I finally bit the bullet and decided to apply at a couple of companies that will hire inexperienced transcriptionists. Well I heard back from one and am now on their waiting list until they need more staff. And I also applied at another company and got the e-mail that they want me to test for them. This is why I feel like a high school kid once again. I have to take a test.

I’m going to take this test tomorrow. Hopefully I do well and this company hires me. I’ll be sure to let you all know the outcome of this particular test.
