Does it seem like to all you guys that when one person appears pregnant that a lot of people become pregnant. It seems to me that every where you turn around there is a pregnant lady standing right in front of you. Well it’s no different in my family. These days we have three girls in our family who are expecting. My niece is expecting her first child so right now she has nothing for the child. So her parents and I are going to go half on a car seat. I have been looking at some Britax car seats and for the money, I think they seem to be the best buy. Not only are they very affordable, but they are extremely durable as well. And since this is just her first, durability is a big thing I look for as I would like this particular car seat to last through possibly another child. Of course I will purchase her other things over the next few months, but this will be my majority contribution to the little girl or guys arrival.

A few years ago when I decided that I needed to start establishing some good credit in my name, I decided to apply for a couple of credit cards to accomplish this mission. The reason why I decided to try to establish credit through the use of credit cards was because I figured it would be quite easy to make small purchases and then pay them off to give me some credit. Well I’m happy to report that this in fact did work and right now I have really good credit.

When I started looking for a credit card that I thought would suit my purposes I started looking at different types of cards and what benefits or rewards that I may be able to get through the use of each card. In the end I decided to go with air miles credit cards. If I’m going to use the cards I figured I may as well get some extra in return. So I applied for an air miles reward miles credit card and have started racking up quite a few miles. Other cards do offer low interest rates or cash back, but for my purposes I wanted one that offered reward miles. This decision worked out well for me and now I have been looking for a different credit card that offers something different. With so many options out there, I know I am bound to find the right card for me.

For the past month or so I have been trying to feed my family a bit better than I have in the past. I have taken on the roll of purchasing all the groceries for the family so this way I can purchase the ingredients to make proper meals. This cooking business isn’t as hard as it looks and I’ve been doing a pretty decent job of having large prepared meals on the table each night. I have also taken into looking for different recipes that I can make to serve the family. I have been experiencing with easy green bean recipes and other types of vegetable dishes. My husband and my two kids have remarked on how much they are enjoying all my new cooking skills. So I guess at this point in time I must be doing something right.

Kids are way too funny sometimes now aren’t they?? My daughter came up with something this morning that was so funny that I just had to share it with you all. Now keep in mind that she is only 10 so a 10 year old would probably think like this.

This morning while the kids were getting ready for school they asked their father if he had any work gloves they could take to school. Both of them are going to working with mulch today so both of them needed a pair of gloves each. So after a few minutes of searching my husband gave them each a brand new pair of gloves that he had just bought. He still had one pair left over and told the kids he was saving them to give to his father.

Kara then asked him if he was going to give him the work gloves as a wedding present?? I started laughing and of course she looked at me like I had two heads. I guess in a kid’s world work gloves are an acceptable wedding present. One for him and one for her.

Over the weekend I spent quite a bit of time and money in the malls. I decided since I had a little extra cash tucked away it would be the perfect time for me to start on my Christmas shopping. I absolutely detest the malls, so for me to voluntary enter them was a great feat on my part. But my adventure paid off. I was able to find a really cheap rc helicopter for my youngest son and a really cheap keyboard for my daughter. I bought a bunch of other things as well. But these two items were the two reasons why I headed to the malls early in the season. One thing I was able to discover from my shopping endeavours was that the early bird really does get the worm.

Lately life has been getting a little hectic and busy and I know I’m not eating as well as I should be. So I have decided to go back on my vitamins to try to build myself up and to make up for the lack of vitamins that I haven’t been getting in my daily diet. This morning I dropped into the drug store to purchase some vitamins and let me tell you that this was quite an experience. I couldn’t believe how many diet pills are available to consumers but how many different types of vitamins are not. I was only able to choose between three different brands. I hope I got the right ones for what I need them for. With only three types to choose from my choices were kind of limited. Hopefully after taking them for a while I will see a marked improvement in my energy level.
