Canada, I don’t get the opportunity to go to many concerts with big name country artists. I get so jealous when I hear on the radio about a concert being held in the States for one of my favorite country artists. I have already told my husband that if George Strait ever performed in a State near our border, I would be digging out my passport and make sure that I am the first person in line. George Strait is my absolute favorite performer and if I ever had the chance to see him live and in person, I would not pass it up. I can’t ever see him coming to Canada so I’ll just have to keep my listening ears on when he is going to be performing at a concert “near” me.

have any kids. I wouldn’t even babysit as I really didn’t enjoy being around children. Thankfully I grew out of that stage and now have three children of my own. I would have loved to have more kids than three, but because raising kids is so expensive I knew that three was the absolute most that we could afford. With the cost of disposable diapers, formula and even clothing, I am amazed that we could afford to raise the three. I really have to wonder sometimes why it’s so expensive for baby items. But now I’m out of the baby stage and am starting to find out that raising 7 and 9 year olds can be just as expensive as having babies.

lot of work that needs to get done today so I really need to get myself off this computer. lol  Today is the final full day that I will have to myself for the entire summer.  Tomorrow the kids have a half a day of school and then they are home for summer vacation.  They will be attending art camp four weeks this summer, but these are only half days and I will have to drive them back and forth everyday.  So I’m trying to get all my work done today so that I can spend a little fun time with the kids this summer.  But whatever doesn’t get done today will eventually get done so I’m not really worried.  So I’m going off the computer now and I will talk to you all later.

I have to say that I’m starting to get a little annoyed when I turn on the TV. It seems like every story you hear about a celebrity is bad news and usually contains information about them going into a drug rehab or having other serious problems. I really have to provillus for woman
wonder how celebrities can call themselves role models to younger children when it seems like all they do is get in trouble. This is certainly not a message I want to send to my kids and it seems like this problem is only getting worse. I understand there are temptations in life, but I think the message we want to send kids is the message that if you stay away from these temptations, you can still be success at what ever you choose to do.

the home, we really need to get things better organized. Right now we have a computer in the living room, the dining room and in the spare room. After browsing on the Internet the other day I have decided that something we really need to have is a KVM box to manage all our computers from one station. Having three computers is wonderful. This way were not all fighting to get the computer from one another. But having three can also be a little disorganized and I need to find a better method to fight this disorganization.

kids are pumped!  Yesterday I turned in the paperwork for them to attend a four week summer art program.  I found out this morning that they were both accepted for the weeks that they wanted to go.  Each week has a different theme and they could pick four out of eight weeks of activities.  So this summer they will be learning painting and drawing techniques.  Sculpting techniques.  Dance, music and performing.  Their first week of camp starts Monday morning so they don’t get too much of a break from school and then starting this camp.  My daughter is a little more excited about this whole event then my son is.  But I think once he gets there and starts to get involved with all the learning he will do fine.  I’m just thankful that there are camps like this available to the kids so they are not stuck home all summer with nothing to do.

Although I’m getting a little older and probably won’t be in the market for a new career, if I were my dream job would be to be a New York City travel guide. Although I live in caralluma fimbriata extract
Canada, I find New York City fascinating. I would love to guide tourists around the area especially to the museums and art shows. I do realize that New York City can be extremely busy at times, but I think this adds to the excitement. Living in a small rural community just got me to thinking about what I would like to do if the opportunity ever presented itself.

day knowing that your a dad. Four years ago I lost my father to cancer and although I miss him every day, I really miss him a lot on this day. He was the best dad ever and days like today I tend to do a lot of reminiscing about days gone by. But that’s life and I can’t change it, so I’ll just have to be content with my memories and knowing that I at least had him in my life for as long as I did.

Internet for my handcrafted jewelry.  One of the sales was for a $25.00 handcrafted necklace and this particular piece went all the way to Texas.  Being from Canada myself, I got a real charge out of that.  The other order was from a friend of mine (thanks Tammy) so I could actually hand deliver this one.  Now that I have these first two sales under my belt, my motivation has returned big time to start advertising my business even more.  If I can get two sales in one day, then I’m sure I can get more.  So for the next little while I’m going to completely focus all my crafting endeavors on making jewelry and posting the pictures on my crafting blog.

phone call today from the kids school.  The school wants to sponsor both kids for an art day camp that our town is  hosting this summer.  Out of the eight weeks of summer they can pick four weeks of camp to go to.  Each week is a different theme and a different concentration on the arts.  They have the opportunity to learn painting techniques, sculpting, improve, drawing and so much more.  The tuition for this camp is $40 a week for each kid, but the school has agreed to pay for it.

The kids were begging me and their father to let them go.  We have decided that we will since the only thing that this will cost us will be a little bit of gas money.  I think this will be great for them as they both enjoy crafts so much and this will get them out of a hot trailer during the summer.  I just love the kid’s school for giving them yet another wonderful opportunity to be involved with.
