After being with the same insurance company for the past six years, I decided that it was time for a change. After checking around with different insurance companies to see which one would give me the better deal on term life insurance, I have decided that what my current insurance company is charging me is way to much. Normally I’m quite loyal to the companies I deal with but in this day and age if I can get a better price somewhere else, then that is where I’m going to end up. The new company that I’m going to go with has the best prices on all my insurance needs so it seems like the best move I can make at this time.

Because the the thoughts of traveling by air absolutely terrifies the (you know) out of me, I generally do all my traveling by car, bus or train. I realize that my fear is completely unreasonable, but for some reason I just can’t get passed it. My niece is getting married this fall and I have been invited to the wedding. And because she lives so far away, I need to do some traveling. I have decided to make this trip by train. I know it will take me longer to get there then by air, but due to my fears this is the only way I can see myself going.

Now that I’ve made the decision to go, I really need to find my luggage, my passport and my Pacsafe locks for my luggage. For this trip I will be traveling alone as my husband can’t get that much time off work, but I think it will be a fun trip anyway. If I could convince myself to fly, he might be able to go as it would take us less time to travel, but I can’t honestly see that happening so I guess I will be going solo on this one.

Today is the first day of art camp for the kids and they are so excited.  Ever since I got up this morning, they have been asking me how many hours and minutes until they go.  When we started the countdown, it was five and a half hours.  And I’ve been doing this countdown every hour on the hour since then.  I honestly hope I don’t have to go through this each and every day that their suppose to go.  But I’m glad that they are excited.  At first my son wasn’t that keen on it, but he really seems to be coming around now.  Well, only one and half hours before we go now. lol
