Surprisingly Insightful

Now that spring has finally arrived and we have decided that this is going to be the year where we put our current home on the market and purchase a newer one there are a last few renovation details that I need to take care of. One of the last things that needs to be done to this home to take it more attractive to buyers is I need to purchase some new window treatments for all the windows.

Years ago I was in a major car accident. The accident wasn’t my fault and it took months to try to get a settlement out of the insurance company. I’m starting to feel a little old today and it’s not because of my age, but because of my oldest son’s age.  Today he turns 19.  I can’t believe how fast time flies.  It seems like only yesterday that I was in A LOT of pain. lol.  When I think back over the last 19 years a lot of fond memories run through my head.  When I first gave birth my son, it was just him and I against the world.  Then we he was five we met my husband.  So it was the three of us.  We have had a lot of fun over the years as well as a little bit of heartache as well.  But 19 years later here we are.

So I would like to take this opportunity to wish him a very happy 19th birthday and I hope that he is enjoying his special day.

One of my dreams in life is to write and have a book of mine published. After doing some research, I have found that writing the book is the easy part. Getting it published is the tricky part. Although today is only Thursday, I have to get my rear in gear and get as much housework done as I can.  Because for the next three days I will have the kids home.   When they are not in school it seems like I don’t get very much accomplished so I try to do everything I can while their in school.  Although I have been putting it off, today is the day that I am going to majorly clean my daughter’s room.  She wants me to clean it  as she seen what her brother’s room looked like after I was done in his.  I don’t think she realizes that to get those results I ended up throwing out a lot of stuff.  But…what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her right??

Living in the country, I have had the opportunity to visit a lot of different types of farms. I have been to cattle farms, sheep farms and vegetable farms. One farm that I haven’t been able to see up close and personal has been an Ostrich farm. This is one farm where I would love to visit. I would love to see what type of uses people have for Ostrich Feathers.

But since it’s unlikely that I will ever have the chance to visit this type of farm, I will just have to be content to visit this site over at ostrich.com to find out all about Ostrich farming. So until I am able to visit a farm like this in person, I just have to be content visiting this web site.
