This morning after I dropped the caralluma fimbriata
kids off at the bus stop I decided I needed to go get some gas. Now you have to understand that since I don’t work outside of the home anymore, I don’t have to stop at the pumps very often. I don’t do a whole lot of driving and mainly use my car for stuff with the kids, going to the doctor’s or going down the road for some groceries. So it’s been quite a while since I have had to visit the gas station. Well..you can just imagine my utter SHOCK when I seen the gas prices. The price of gas had gone up $0.20 a liter since the last time I filled up. Although I still wouldn’t spend that much on gas myself, I do have to wonder how people are affording to drive back and forth to work everyday while paying these prices. In our house we are quite lucky as I don’t spend a whole lot on gas and my husband’s work pays for his. But…I really have to wonder how everyone else pays for it. And it’s only suppose to get worse before the summer has ended.
Oh, I hear ya! It seems I can’t afford much any more these days! At least not without seriously hurting my bank account.
I used to be able to fill up my car for $10…now it is almost $100. It seems everything is more expensive because of it - so even if you make “more” now you really don’t have more…I had more money when I had my job in high school because everything cost so much less!
